Thursday night, January 14th; we gathered at our church with nearly 100 of our amazing friends and family members to remember Jaiden. We showed a video collage of Jaiden's life, along with a second video collage of all that we have done in the past 2 years in her memory and honor. I read an article that I wrote for a friends website (www.southshorewoman.com) on the topic of REMEMBERING; it was titled "Missing ~ Before and After." read the rest...
Two years ago my nearly perfect life was shattered in the midst of a terrible snowstorm. My beloved 8-year old daughter was fatally injured just 5 days before Christmas. It was the type of life-altering event that you can not begin to imagine unless it happens to you. A fate I would wish upon no-one.
In the early days I was in total shock. My faith was challenged and my naivety destroyed. I knew only one thing... that it was now my responsibility to keep my beautiful daughter's memory alive. Jaiden was an incredibly loving creature; wise beyond her years. She was filled with a compassion for others that was unmatched. Her loss was like tidal wave in the Garden of Eden.
To help support Jaiden's Angel please donate to the Planet Aid boxes located at these locations.
Governor John Lynch stopped by the Jaiden's Angel booth yesterday en route to the Milford Labor Day parade. Foodees owner John Bowen gave permission to the Foundation to set up shop in his parking lot. Governor Lynch purchased raffle tickets for a basket donated to The Wadleigh Memorial Library in memory of Jaiden Lyndi Tlapa. All funds raised by Jaiden's Angel from the raffle and Labor Day bake sale went toward purchasing a Boston Aquarium pass for the Wadleigh Memorial Library in Jaiden's name.

Connor Edmunds was a vibrant, energetic 6 year old boy. He loved nature, parks, playing in the dirt and most of all, Connor loved people. He was the only 6 yr old I ever knew that truly LOVED going to school, everyday, 5 days a week. He always looked forward to going to kindergarten and seeing his teachers and classmates.
On Sunday, January 18, 2009, 3-year-old Harris Jones of Wilton, NH was involved in a serious snowmobile accident. His legs were run over by a snowmobile and he is in danger of losing one of them. He was rushed to Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth in Hanover, NH, where he is still currently.
His parents Kelly and Keith Jones, both work in Milford. Kelly works as a paraprofessional at the high school and Keith runs his own paint business and is the head football coach for Milford High School.
Jaiden’s Angel will be assisting the family with a financial donation. We are requesting that you keep this family in your thoughts and prayers at this time.
Jaiden Lyndi Tlapa was a vivacious and happy 3rd grade student at Heron Pond Elementary in Milford, NH. Just 5 days before Christmas, she was critically injured in an accident at home. She tumbled into the path of a snow-blower after falling off snowy steps. She courageously fought for her life for 25 days, ultimately losing her battle on January 14, 2008.
During Jaiden’s hospitalization, our family received a tremendous outpouring of support from our community and beyond. We realized that during a trauma involving a child, people truly want to help in any way they can. We also realized that not all families received the support that we did. read the rest of this message
